Who Is Patrick Depa? Is He An Idiot? He’s A Scumbag!
Where do you start with a bigoted racist homophobe like Patrick Depa? Is he a total scumbag or just an idiot? Well, he has a decades long history of being a raging alcoholic. So that may be the reason. But, whatever the reason, he creates problems where ever he goes.
From roughly 2005 to 2013, Depa was a City Planner for the City of Taylor, Michigan. In 2010, two restarant owners sued Depa and the City of Taylor. The business owners alleged Depa tried to shake them down for hundreds of thousands of dollars.
The plaintiffs reached an out of court settlement with the City of Taylor and Depa. Soon afterward the city terminated Depa.
Afterward, he began working as contract salesman with International Outdoor (IO). IO is a billboard advertising business in the Detroit suburbs. Soon after Depa began showing signs of having substance abuse issues.
His co-workers would often find him slumped over his office computer passed out and reeking or alcohol. When he wasn’t sleeping at his desk, he was busy buying mariquana from a former employee of IO. Depa also liked seending out sexist and racist emails to other IO employees. Namely, racist comments about his boss’s Arabic ancestory. Not smart!
But it get worse! Patrick Depa soon began stealing file from IO and permanently deleting them from IO’s servers. Why would he do this? Depa was intentionally involving himself in workplace sabotage, backstabbing, undermining, malicious smear campaign by giving secret information and signing an affidavit hat Depa knew was false under oath, knowing that it was false to help IO’s main competitor, Lamar Advertising.
Patrick Depa soon became the central figure in the ongoing lawsuit between International Outdoor and Lamar Advertising. Lawyers have caught him lying under oath multiple times in the case. You can read more about the case at MichiganInjustice.com.
So, where Patrick Depa now? After getting busted shaking down business owners as a city planner in Taylor and wreaking havoc in Southeast Michigan, Depa fled to Sandy, Oregon, where he is doing what he did in Taylor.
